About

Straight from New Orleans, a generous and totally incredible cuisine awaits you. Do you know Cajun cuisine?

Inspired by the culinary traditions of the American South, the Popeyes phenomenon was born 51 years ago in New Orleans.
Popeyes' culinary heritage is rooted in a special place: Louisiana, known as a melting pot of cultures. The traditions and tastes of these varied heritages have blended over time to create two unique flavors: Creole and Cajun. Popeyes recipes are inspired by these traditions and proudly celebrate them. New Orleans is a city fueled by jazz, love, generosity, positivity, celebration and joy. Its vibrant, colorful and energetic soul represents the spirit of the brand.

You can't cook chicken from the other side of the planet! Everything you eat at Popeyes is 100% French chicken. Fresh, of course!
We bread it by hand before frying it to get that legendary Popeyes crunch. We only take it out when it's perfect: perfectly browned, perfectly crispy!
12 hours is the time it takes for the spices in our marinade to permeate the heart of the finest pieces of poultry. The result: rich, delicious flavors are released with every bite!
