In 1964, Christian Lassaigne acquired a number of uncultivated plots in the heart of the Montgueux hillside, several of which are difficult to access and sloping, but benefit from a southern exposure.
A self-taught winegrower, meticulous and passionate, in the early 80's he adopted weed control and "lutte raisonnée", of which he was one of the pioneers, so concerned was he with environmental problems, erosion and pollution.
It was with his wife Madeleine that he created his own estate, which today covers 5.5 hectares, and turned it into a family business, working with their 2 daughters: Nathalie and Christine...
