For 6 people – Preparation time: 10 minutes – Cooking time: 30 minutes

1/2 l milk – 6 eggs – 100 g caster sugar – 2 vanilla beans – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Bring the milkand vanilla to a boil. Meanwhile, beat the whole eggs with the caster sugar andthe vanilla extract.
  • Pour the boilingmilk over this mixture.
  • Mix well with awhisk and fill in 6 small ramekins.
  • Place theramekins on a baking tray with water to make a double boiler and bake in a hotoven for 25 minutes.
  • Serve warm or cold.
