It’s D-Day! That day when you will have the opportunity to save a lot of money thanks to many very attractive discounts!

But where does the name Black Friday come from?

Black Friday was created in the 1950s in the United States and is the Friday following Thanksgiving (the fourth Thursday of November). This is the busiest shopping day of the year. It is also an important indicator for the shop owners: the most crowded (black) the points of sales, the most profitable the Christmas season will be.

Black Friday was imported in the 2010s in France and Europe, at the initiative of major online sales groups. The shops and brands then offer very important discounts on selected items and lead a huge advertising campaign to attract consumers. Black Friday started slowly in 2013 before becoming big in 2016.
