Parcours d’orientation

A permanent orienteering course is located in the Parc des Moulins. Available in a variety of formats, it is designed for families as well as teachers and their students.

At the request of the City of Troyes, CAP Orientation, a company specializing in orienteering activities, has created several trails in the Parc des Moulins.

A fun way to discover the site!

The permanent orienteering course comprises 40 wooden markers and an information panel:

- The markers :
Each marker is numbered to check that the position found is the one you're looking for.
Each bollard is also fitted with a pair of pliers for punching in the boxes on the control cards (each pair of pliers leaves a different punch imprint).

- The information panel
The information board highlights the Parc des Moulins and provides information about the permanent orienteering course and the routes on offer.

Three types of orienteering course:

Fun, sporty and educational courses are offered, making orienteering accessible to a wide public.
They include :
- 3 Kle'o courses (green, blue, red), the Treasure Hunt for 2 to 6 year-olds
- 1 suitcase with educational booklets and exercise maps (6 sessions) for elementary schools
- 1 CAP Patrimoine, local heritage discovery trail
