Médiathèque municipale de Saint-Lyé

The municipal media library is a public service that contributes to the leisure, culture, information and documentation of all citizens.

Access to the media library and on-site consultation of documents is free and open to all. Borrowing is free after registration (maximum 5 documents per person for a period of 3 weeks, renewable once).

The space is composed of a youth section and an adult section with magazines and books of all kinds, some of which are printed in large print. If a document is not available, a reservation system makes it possible to obtain it as soon as possible.

The media library's holdings are maintained by the regular acquisition of new items and by an exchange of 600 documents with the Bibliothèque Départementale de Prêt (BDP), two to three times a year. In addition, every week a shuttle bus from the BDP delivers the documents (books, audio CDs and readers) reserved by users.

A home book-carrying service can be organised for people who are unable to attend (ask at the media library).

A team composed of a manager, Véronique Sa-Noël, and 12 volunteers: Sonia Bailly, Monique Bajaluna, Patricia Cunha Barbosa, Martine Chevalier, Nicole Favier, Claire Gabriel, Marie-Agnès Gonthier, Marie-Paule Menu, Nicole Michel, Véronique Stoltz-Robert, Sylvie Philippe and Cassandre Petitet.

Opening hours to the public :
- Tuesday from 8:30 to 10:30 am and 4 to 6 pm
- Wednesday from 2 to 6 pm
- Thursday from 4pm to 7pm
- Friday from 4 to 6 pm
- Saturday from 2pm to 5pm

The HOT BIBLIO'CHAUD: Tuesday mornings between 8.30 and 10.30 am, usual service and a more convivial moment around a hot drink.

ANIMATIONS : Outside of these hours, the media library can welcome children from the school group, leisure activities or the Relais Assistantes Maternelles municipal media library of Saint Lyé.
