Médiathèque municipale de Saint-Lyé

The municipal media library is a public service that contributes to the leisure, culture, information and documentation of all citizens.

Access to the media library and on-site consultation of documents are free and open to all. Borrowing is free after registration (10 documents for one month, renewable 1 time).

There is a children's section and an adult section with magazines and books of all kinds, some of which are printed in large print. If a document is not available, a reservation system allows you to obtain it as quickly as possible.

The library's holdings are replenished by the regular acquisition of new titles and the exchange of 600 documents with the Bibliothèque Départementale de Prêt (BDP), two or three times a year. What's more, every week a BDP shuttle service delivers the documents (books, audio CDs and books to be read) reserved by users.

A home delivery service can be organised for people with disabilities (ask at the media library for details).

The library is staffed by Elora ALLART, the library manager, and 12 volunteers: Sonia BAILLY, Monique BAJALUNA, Patricia CUNHA BARBOSA, Martine CHEVALIER, Frédérique DELPAS, Claire GABRIEL, Marie-Agnès GONTHIER, Nadine LAGAUDE, Nicole MICHEL, Véronique STOLTZ-ROBERT and Sylvie PHILIPPE.

The Media Library is also :

>> ANIMATIONS: outside public opening hours, the multimedia library can welcome children from schools, leisure centres or the Relais Assistantes Maternelles.

>> The PRESENTATION OF SHOWS.

>> And a READERS CLUB: open to all.
A selection of books can be consulted at the multimedia library or by telephone.
