About
The Saint-Germain Media Library is a service of the municipality of Saint-Germain created in 2004.
Located in the Cultural Centre, it contributes to the leisure, culture, information, training and documentation of all citizens.
It operates within the framework of an agreement with the Departmental Media Library of the Aube (MDA) and since January 2017 it has been operating in a network with the Jacques Chirac Media Library (Troyes Champagne métropole).
The team is made up of two salaried employees, Adeline Bayon (head of the media library) and Emilie Sarre (youth section). Five volunteers also take part each week in the smooth running of the service: Chantal, Elisabeth, Christine, Erick and Viviane.
They take part in the living environment, cultural and social life of the commune, particularly in partnership with the SAJE germinois (leisure centre of Saint-Germain), the primary and nursery schools of Saint-Germain as well as with associations.
