The child at the Fountain - Place St Nizier

Cast iron casting based on a plaster model by Alfred Boucher in 1874 and kept at the Musée des Beaux-Art in Troyes.

Alfred Boucher, who was born in Nogent Sur Seine in 1850, is the founder of the Beehive in Montparnasse, which will welcome artists such as Léger, Modigliani, Soutrine, Chagall...
He will also be Camille Claudel's first teacher.
He died in 1934 in Aix Les bains and was buried in the cemetery of Nogent sur Seine.
A large part of his works are exhibited in the Camille Claudel Museum in Nogent Sur Seine.
