The church of Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul, built in the 12th and 16th centuries, stands in the centre of the village, on the D186, rue de la fontaine saint-pierre.

The church contains a processional staff of Saint-Pierre, dated from the XIXth century it includes a statuette dated from the XVIIth century.
The wooden ensemble has been classified as a historical monument since 1975. A little more than a dozen pieces of furniture of the church of Bouranton is classified as a historic monument including a limestone statuette of Saint Eloi from the 16th century, a bronze bell from 1578, the high altar in painted and gilded oak from the 18th and 19th century, as well as a polychrome limestone statue from the 14th century representing a Virgin with child and 1.55 meters high and a life-size sculpture of Saint Peter, dated from the 16th century.
