About
The church, dedicated to Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens, dates from the 16th century.
The Latin cross plan has lost its apse, but retains a transept with two bays and two side aisles. The nave has three bays and no side aisles. The heart is enclosed by a straight wall in line with the transept walls.
Thunder fell on the bell tower on August 14, 1733. The nave was rebuilt and vaulted in 1774.
Outside, the late 18th-century turret is attached to the corner of the nave's north wall, and its stone staircase leads up to the bell tower.
Remarkable works and features of the church:
The stained glass windows date from the 19th century. The central bay is by Gesta de Toulouse, as is the Annunciation window.
The statuary comes from the Sainterie de Vendeuvre, including a Virgin and Child by Léon Money. Other statues are by Vaucouleur.
