For almost 40 years, the Centre d'art contemporain / Passages has been a place of production, distribution and awareness of contemporary art, where experimentation has its place.

It maintains a privileged relationship with the creative world and keeps abreast of regional, national and international artistic news.

The Centre d'art contemporain / Passages is subsidized by the French Ministry of Culture and financed by the Direction Régionale des affaires culturelles du Grand Est, the Conseil régional du Grand Est, the Conseil départemental de l'Aube and the Ville de Troyes. The Centre d'art contemporain / Passages, firmly rooted in its local area and committed to the long term, fully pursues its public service mission with singularity and determination.

The team at the Centre d'art contemporain / Passages welcomes you free of charge for individual or group visits, or guided tours with or without an art workshop.

Admission is free and open to all.

In a decree dated January 20, 2026, the French Minister of Culture awarded the "Centre d'art contemporain d'intérêt national" (CACIN) label to Passages, a contemporary art center based in Troyes (Aube).
