"Greet" means "host" or "welcome" in English.

Based on the model of the Big Apple Greeters, born in New York in the 1990s, our association "TROYES dès l'AUBE GREETERS" supports a new form of tourism: one that enables visitors to have an authentic encounter with an Aube resident, free of charge. He'll welcome you as a friend and show you "his" corner, "his" district, "his" town, of which he is proud and passionate. After all, Aube has many riches that each of us experiences and perceives in our own way: a remarkable heritage, beautiful countryside, delicious gastronomy...

Developed in 90 cities around the world as part of the Global Greeter Network, this original initiative was launched in Aube in 2011 by the TROYES dès l'AUBE Greeters association.

So come and take a tour of participatory tourism and discover the Troyes of the Troyens and the Aube of the Aubois, far from the beaten track!
