Music’ en Othe

To satisfy their passion for music, active musicians from the Pays d'Othe created Music' en Othe in 1996.

Spiritual heiress of the rural fanfares of yesteryear, those of the Second Empire and the Belle Epoque, Music' en Othe is a typical Harmonic band where brass and woodwinds, older instruments and modern instruments merge joyfully. It performs mainly in the Pays d'Othe and in particular in its three communes, Estissac, Pâlis and Villemaur-sur-Vanne. The Harmonie also gives concerts in the rest of the department and abroad through its twinnings.

The musical training of its members (children and adults) is provided by professional musicians within the Estissac municipal music schools.

The music'en othe harmony was born from the fusion of three harmonies: Estissac, Pâlis and Villemaur.
