About

Montceaux-lès-Vaudes lies at the crossroads of the Vaudois and the beginning of the Aumont forest.

A 444-hectare forest makes for great hiking, including an educational trail created in 2013 by the commune in partnership with the ONF, where you can discover many different tree species.

There's also a church called Sainte Cyre, some parts of which date back to the 12th century, as well as a château, built in 1853 by Count Jacques Louis Patrice Ernest De Feu De La Motte, which belongs to the commune of Sainte-Savine and houses the Centre Médico-éducatif, not to mention a number of gravel quarry lakes that are now used for fishing and jet-skiing.

The schools are in RPI with the communes of Vaudes and Rumilly-les-Vaudes.

The commune offers its residents a sports field, a boulodrome and a village hall.
