Lacoste is a brand born from the inventiveness of a tennis champion, René Lacoste, who created the very first Polo shirt, initially for his own use and that of his family, to be both relaxed and elegant on the courts and in life.
Nicknamed "the Crocodile" by the press in the late 1920s when he won multiple Grand Slam titles, Lacoste had the animal embroidered on the blazer he wore on the court, before making it the logo of his famous Polo shirt.
Today, the brand is known for its iconic polo shirt, available each season in a wide range of colours, but also offers a wide collection of clothing and accessories for men, women and children.
