With a tradition of biscuit-making forged over two and a half centuries of history, Fossier is the home of the Biscuit Rose de Reims, blending the classic flavors of yesteryear with the tastes of today to delight all food lovers and gourmets. Do you know its history? The Biscuit Rose dates back to the 1690s. At that time, bakers in Champagne, wanting to make use of the heat in their ovens after removing the bread, came up with the idea of creating a special dough that, after an initial baking, was left in the bread oven to finish drying. Hence the word BIS-CUIT, meaning baked twice.
