About
Created in 1904, the Fédération de l'Aube pour la Pêche et la Protection du Milieu Aquatique is an association established under the law of July 1, 1901.
Charged by law with missions of general interest, the Federation is a public utility establishment and is accredited to protect nature and the environment.
It is responsible for :
- protecting and enhancing aquatic environments, and overseeing the Aube's piscicultural domain.
- supporting and federating the department's 32 AAPPMAs.
- to advise the relevant authorities on any development of aquatic environments.
- to promote fishing as a leisure activity, and to provide information and education on the protection of aquatic environments and fish stocks, by carrying out all work and interventions to enhance them.
