Our association offers a variety of activities to encourage new encounters, break isolation and create links; all thanks to recreational afternoons, "discovery" days, restaurant outings, etc...

The association has 102 members in various activities:

Walking (Ch.Samuel, D.Marion and C. Charton) Every Monday 2.15pm - summer 9.15am: approx. 8km circuit. In addition, 2-3 times a year, theme walks with picnics (crane crossings, etc.), to discover the heritage of our region.
Every Tuesday 9:30 am: leisurely walk around Verrières.

Club Joie de Vivre (E. Vergnaud, J. Darras) 2nd , 4th (possibly 5th ) Tuesday of the month, 2.15pm to 5.30pm: card games, scrabble, triomino, rummikub, etc., plus afternoon tea.

Dictation (N.Collin) 1st Tuesday of the month from 2.15pm to 4.15pm: revise your French, avoid grammatical pitfalls. Great atmosphere guaranteed!

Rendez-vous mémoire (N.Collin) 3rd Tuesday of the month from 2.15pm to 3.30pm: How to preserve and maintain your memory through simple games and entertaining exercises, in a relaxed, good-humored atmosphere.

Creative workshops (E. Vergnaud) every Thursday of the month from 2.15pm to 5.30pm: We like to get together according to our talents (knitting, crocheting, embroidery, small crafts) for personal creations or for exhibitions and sales. Sharing a snack.

Cookery workshop (D.Marion) 3rd Thursday of the month at 2.15pm: Recipes from yesterday and today, always linked to the seasons. Preparation of a dish to take away and a dessert to enjoy on the spot together for a convivial moment.

Sewing (A.Davron) Fridays 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm: In a relaxed atmosphere, this workshop enables participants to progress at their own pace.

Scrabble - A new section within the association.

Sessions take place in the Salle Socio-Culturelle every Thursday from 6.30pm to 8pm.

We play "duplicate". Each player has a complete set and a grid, and the host spells out 7 letters from the bag. Each player has 3 minutes to find a word. The player keeps a score, and the word with the most points is placed on the grid.

There's no competition, and the session takes place in a friendly atmosphere. The games are supplied by the association.
