Atelier Restauration Major Maïté

In her studio, Maïté restores various types of objects made of earthenware, porcelain, plaster, terracotta, or ceramics. She also works on the dials of Comtoise clocks and can reconstruct missing parts of an object.

Maïté warmly welcomes you to her workshop, where she restores earthenware and porcelain, breathing new life into damaged objects while preserving their history and authenticity.

Trained in France—notably at the Château des Islettes and later in Versailles—she also honed her skills in England, where she discovered new restoration techniques.

In her studio, Maïté restores a variety of materials: earthenware, porcelain, ceramics, terracotta, and even plaster. She also works on Comtoise clock dials and can recreate missing parts of an object: arms, fingers, hands, bird beaks, ears, hats, or even musical instruments.

Her expertise also allows her to undertake more complex restorations, including the complete or partial recreation of missing parts such as lids, handles, spoons, flowers, or even the delicate tulle adorning the dresses and tutus of figurines.
