To develop and promote philately, marcophily, cartophily and various collections, as well as meetings between collectors, participation in cultural activities and the organisation of exhibitions, fairs and events as part of our activities.
At the very beginning of the last century, six philatelic enthusiasts got together to exchange stamps.
On the evening of November 28, 1902, they got together and the association was born (law of July 1, 1901).
The Société Philatélique de l'Est (S.P.E.) was created.
They were very few - 15 to 20 at most - but very determined.
In 2014, the S.P.E. has 150 members, including 16 teenagers.
It draws its national influence from the dynamism of these members.
Location: Maison pour tous, police building. 2nd Tuesday and 4th Friday of each month at 6pm.
