Troyes is the centre of an artistic movement active in the 16th century, with workshops of glassmakers, sculptors, painters from Troyes who had gained quite a prosperous reputation. The Ecole Champenoise shone throughout the region and even beyond its limits.

The religious buildings of our territory carry this magnificent heritage.
From the sumptuous Cathedral St Pierre St Paul de Troyes and its shimmering glass roofs, to the rich statuary of the churches of St Pantaléon, St Urbain, or the finely chiseled rood screen of Ste Madeleine…  the innovative Art Deco of Notre Dame des Trévois… and then beyond the city, churches with a remarkable heritage like in Isle-Aumont, Sainte-Maure, Pont-Sainte-Marie, Moussey, Bouilly…

But also the reformed Temple and its 19th century sobriety, as well as the Synagogue and its wonderful glass roof right in the centre of Maison Rachi, a beautiful and special place to pass on the Jewish culture.

Thus…
Come and get amazed!
