Since 1954, in Troyes, Maison Caffet has been setting the standard for excellence in pastry and chocolate making. Guided by the boldness and passion of Master Artisan Chocolatier and Pastry Chef Pascal Caffet, Maison Caffet showcases its full splendor through its traditional, entirely “homemade” pralines and its expertise in creating collections of: pastries, confections, and chocolates.

A visionary and passionate artisan, Pascal Caffet took over the small family-run chocolate shop in Troyes in the early 1980s, pouring as much energy and passion into his work as his father had done a few years earlier. Very quickly, he became interested in pralines, which were not very popular at the time and were considered less refined than dark chocolate. For many years, Pascal Caffet sought to recapture the delicious flavors buried in his childhood memories, and worked tirelessly to perfect this overlooked and underappreciated product, restoring it to its rightful place of honor.

The man who aspired to be “the best on his street, before becoming the best on his city,” went on to earn the supreme title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France Pâtissier in 1989, followed by the coveted title of World Champion in the Dessert Trades in 1995.

Following in the footsteps of its founder, Maison Caffet is committed to this spirit of research and development and the perpetual pursuit of excellence. The company cultivates its creativity through simple, understated products. Raw ingredients are carefully selected.
