About

The Militaire Association troyenne, familiarly known as MAT, is an association of collectors dedicated to reviving the military past, created in 1986 by its founding president Bruno Tabare.

Housed in the former hangars of a public transport company (it had to be), just 2 minutes from the town center on the way to Dijon, this collection of a different kind "deploys" some 65 vehicles, including 44 armored vehicles, all with a close or very close connection to the military world. On display are tanks, cannons, shells, radios, engines and more.
Among the "rare" items: a Renault UE tracked vehicle, a Berliet CBA, a Sherman, an AML, an AMX 32, an AMX 13, an AMX 10, a UBL, etc.

What's special is that almost all of these vehicles are in perfect working order, so much so that they become the stars of major national parades such as those held on July 14th, August 25th (the date of the liberation of Troyes) or November 11th, or even for film shoots.
