SELF-SERVICE BICYCLE: THE MARCEL IS FREEDOM!
Since 29 June 2021, Troyes Champagne Métropole has been providing users with a new self-service bicycle service. These bikes are called "Le Marcel".
"Le Marcel" consists of 50 electrically assisted bicycles (25 km of autonomy) distributed over 12 stations installed at strategic sites in Troyes and its agglomeration (Troyes train station, Tourist Office, University Campus, Moulins and Fouchy parks, Aqualuc, Sainte-Savine, Simone-Veil Hospital, etc.).
Accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, "Le Marcel" is ideal for short daily journeys (from a few minutes to an hour).
To take advantage of this new soft mobility service, register on https://lemarcel.ecovelo.mobi/#/tutorial or download the "Le Marcel" application (App Store or Google Play) free of charge. And let yourself be guided!
GOOD TO KNOW :
- Why "Le Marcel"?
By taking the name of "Le Marcel", the self-service bicycle rental service of Troyes Champagne Métropole pays tribute to the greatest cyclist of the Auvergne: Marcel Bidot (1902-1995), rider who took part in the Tour de France and former director of the French cycling team during the Anquetil, Bobet and Pingeon periods.
