In search of Saint Nicholas
Legend has it that in Asia Minor, a butcher and his wife killed three children and put them in a saltbox. A few years later, passing by, Saint Nicholas resurrected them. In some parts of France and Europe, he has since become the patron saint of children, who are rewarded every 6 December if they have been good. He is often represented with his crook, his mitre and 3 children.
He is very often represented on the facades of Trojan houses, especially since in our city Count Henry I The Liberal devoted a particular devotion to him!
From 24 November to 31 December, Troyes La Champagne Tourisme is offering a tour of the historic centre where participants will have to photograph 6 representations of Saint Nicholas.
Each participant will receive a chocolate offered by our partner Cémoi at the end of the tour.
A draw will take place on 5 January and will reward 15 winners with a surprise prize.
Free game, no obligation to buy.
